I'm still digesting some of it but, it appears that there is significant interest. I recognize there are different reasons for being either pro or con. Nay the less, I feel there are a large number of common reasons for capturing the data that we can capture about the captive Drymarchon collection. I think we are in fundemental agreement on this.

Whether it be to (potentially) repatriate from the captive population the D.c. couperi or to validate the bloodlines of a particular D.c. erebenus as pure, the desire is the same. Demonstrable data is king, and there is only one way to get it. Solicitation. Then validation. It's not gonna be easy.

For those that are concerned that "The Man" is gonna come knocking, well "The Man" shan't get data without a valid warrant/subpoena. Don't know why they would be interested anyway but in my limited experience, so long as you did what you did in good faith and were deceived by the seller then you are OK.
