getting a uro maybe

i have a bearded dragon right now and i was thinking about getting a uro and buying another aquarium. whats the minimum size for the tank length? what do you guys run for a basking temperature. Thanks, i am choosing between a uro and a collared lizard

You'll probably get differing opinions on minimum cage size, and it will depend a little bit on the species you're looking to get. Mine is that you'll want at least an 80 gallon or so for an adult Mali (medium size species) and a 55 gallon for an adult Ornate (smaller species). If you're looking at an Egyptian, you'll need to custom build something, probably. As always, bigger is better.

Basking temps for an adult is usually recommended anywhere 115-125 F. I run mine toward the higher end of that. Hatchlings need it a little bit cooler.
