what is this?

Mike_Is_Me Nov 29, 2004 09:44 PM

Hi, I found this pic on the ontario reptile expo website, and I think it is an amazing lizard, and would love to be able to get one, but first thing I need to do is find out what it is.
Please help me in identifying this, or help by giving me links that i could use to find out myself. Thanks for the help

It's some sort of not-too-common gecko. Go to www.gekkota.com, go to their photo gallery and start looking!

Look for Chondrodactylus angulifer

Looks like Chondrodactylus angulifer, a largish gecko from Namibia. Not too common in the herp trade, but I think they're available CB pretty regularly.

Thats what I think too, after looking through every picture on gekkota.com i found the Chondrodactylus angulifer to be the closest match as well, thanks again for the help.

Yes he looks like a gecko to me. Maybe the velvet variety!
