Off feed in burmese pythons.....does it happen?

My burm is only 3 ft right now but i waswondering...do they go off feed for certaintime every year like bps do? I do not plan to breemy burm but will he still go off feed sometimes? If so when will this happen and how long? Thanks a bundle,
