TREX red color

Flavia Guimaraes Nov 29, 2004 10:17 PM

Since we moved from Malaysia to India (what happened the 12th September) TREX my 5 years old male iguana stopped displaying his beautiful red color he used to display for years, since he reached sexual maturity. I dont know whether this is a sign of distress or because he feels he lost his "territory".Now he is just green.Any comments?

Hey Flavia, I wouldn´t be concerned about it... If he is green, he should be fine. You know how igs are about "moving". I agree with you, I think he is feeling like he has lost his territory. But he´s green right??? The problem would be if he had turned yellow, or dark brown.. Just give him some time to figure out where he is.. Good luck with him.. Did he get better???
Take care,

Dan
