Scarring from shell rot

About 4 years ago when I first got my turt from a pet shop, which did not keep up very good conditions, my girl came with a bad case of shell rot, through much care she was totally cured and has never gotten it again, but the pitted areas ran pretty deep, one area near the front edge was almost rotted through. Now she has shed probably 8-9 times that I have noticed since then, and her RES yellow swirly coloring is just starting to show again, everything is still very mottled looking. Will the scars ever heal completely? Will she get her coloring back? Thanks alot! ~ Celina
