Those certainly are nice snakes. I'm quite interested in the Great Plains ratsnakes myself. Could you straighten me out on where Jones Co. is, and did you say your male was amel-het? Your snakes remind me a little of my rats from Brazos Island stock in south TX. Good luck with your project. They should make some really nice amels. TC.

This is a snake from the wild. I didn't collect it, but the person who did told me where it came from. Jones Co. is west of Dallas, but I know nothing about the area.

I think that the snake is a male, but I have not confirmed it by probing yet.

I have both a male and a female amelanistic female 02 Emoryi that were reported by the seller to be unrelated. I intend to try to breed them in the spring of 06. I just want to let the female get a little more size on her before I try.

The W/C Emoryi shed a few hours after I took the pictures. That is why his head scales look a little blistered.
