Good Luck Greg I hope you get a good sized fertile clutch. I had one of your male tigers and he was an awsome snake. Tame and had real nice colors. I am only doing BP's now so I got out of the big ones.

Whats up Todd ?
I'll definately keep you all posted on this one . It would be very interesting to see what effect the Tiger gene has on the standard Bateater look . She appears to be gravid and is refusing food , but for now all I can do is wait and see what happens . Both parents have produced many fertile clutches of their own species the past few years , but from what I understand , hybrid clutches such as this are subject to low fertility , yet it still happens successfully from time to time . In the meantime , I'll just apply a lot of wishful thinking..... Greg

Keep trying Greg,,,you'll hit it sooner or later ! I to would like to see what kind of influence the tiger gene would have on the bats...best of luck man !

I hate to bring down the party, but I have some bad news. Getting Burms and Retics to mate is really only half the trick. I've tried this before. After getting a large number of still borns I talked to python extrodinare Bob Clark who informed me the reason he charges two grand for his bat eaters is the fact that the young very rarely hatch and those that do often do not survive. Email Bob Clark on this one, he's been doing this a while.
