Question about short-tailed boas . . .

Hey everyone!
I am a little confused by the classification stuff . . . I was wondering where I can find information on the short-tail boa (I believe it is boa constrictor amarali?). I looked at Rio Bravo Reptiles but found limited information there, on that particular boa.
Thanks in advance for any advice or direction!
