I think Anthony Caponetto said so of cresteds, but it isn't true at my house. I have 4 males and 8 females, and only the 2 younger males are still smaller than some of the females; my 2 older males easily outweigh all of my females and are impressive, even to my non-reptile eyes. Of course I believe all of my breeders are still under 3 years of age, and most are younger than 2, so perhaps in time the females WILL gain the upper hand (LOL).
