Does a beautiful Pastel parent make a beautiful baby? or.....

pythonsbaby Nov 30, 2004 01:01 PM

can a high yellow pastel parent make a lowered yellow baby? My question is directed toward purchasing a new pastel male. Do you need to buy an unbelievable specimen or will a not so great looking male that came from a high yellow father produce high yellow offspring. Just asking.... any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Any parent can produce any variation of "prettyness". But more often than not a good looking parent is going to produce a good looking baby and vice versa!

Take my parents for instance, if one of them were "good looking" then maybe I would have had a chance at being "good looking" myself. But then again, you never know. lol

Funny, I am in the same boat...I think my parents practised on me and got it right with my sister. Anyway, I have a few offers for pastels and one is not so pretty, but cheap, the other, much nicer, but a couple hundred more. Just trying to sort out the issue. I guess in reality, you never really know, and are really just playing the odds....so odds are that a nice pastel will procuce nicer babies.
