Leos and Cats?

-JayDog- Nov 30, 2004 03:42 PM

I'm wondering if anybody has had any issues with cats causing stress in Leos? I suppose it is possible for a cat to get close to the glass and tap the glass going after a leo on the otherside. there is no way for the cat to actually get to the Leo, but what kinda stress will that cause on the leos? Does anybody have any experiance with this situation?

Thanks

Cat gets too close: gets sprayed with water from the spray bottle, runs away. The leos don't seem to mind too much. I still yell at the cat to stay off the cages and avoid the racks. It took a few months but now he'll sit outside the door of the room while I'm feeding, and when I'm done he comes in... such a good kitty =). The bearded dragons on the other hand think the cat is the apocolypse and run and attack and freak out.

haha. I have a spray bottle in every room, just so I'm ready to "train" my cats. The cabinet system I built would make it very very hard for the cat to get anywhere but the front glass of the lower tank. I'm glad to hear that it's not that much of a problem.

Thanks for the reply.
