Night Time. this pic isnt that great but this tank looks great at night with the night bulb on in a other wise pitch black room

Looks great!. The only suggestion would be to had some more vertical branches for your crestie to climb. Also What is the temp right under the bulb? Im not sure what wattage you are using but you dont want to over heat your geckos.

yeah i plan on adding a egg box vertical fake vines and the temp under that bulb is about 81 degrees the cool side is about 74 its a 150 watt bulb. i thought about just going with the 100 watt bulb but it is the beginning of winter here in rhode island and it gets frigid! u know that feeling when u are warm in bed and have to wake up and dash for the bathroom while u freeze im trying to avoid the geckos from having to deal with that temp. when spring comes ill probably only need a 75 watt bulb occasionally. just going to have to feel it out

does the door prop open? Or does it slide?

Davemaymon Dec 01, 2004 02:58 PM

see thats my only beef with the tank
the front slides up and is some what of a nuisance.
i wanted to to open like a door
but heyu get what u pay for
and this way free so im
very very happy

.....as far as "foilage" goes, I think it's fine, maybe a bit more vines or bamboo....something more verticle for climbing. Looks gr8 tho, good job!
