I was wondering if Mineral oil is a good idea to use for clearing a possible impaction in a leopard gecko? The gecko is about three/three and a half inches long.
If not, what other idea do people have?

Actually, mineral oil is probably one of the best things you can use. Put small drops on your Leo's lips so it will lick it up. I'd say give it about .1-.2 mLs. I would also try soaking your little leo in a small, shallow pan of warm water. This may stimulate it to "go". Make sure the water is shallow, as Leo's cannot swim and could easily drown if your not very careful. Hope that helps. Good luck!
Thank you for the hasty reply. I thought it would be okay to use, but had to be sure.
