Ball bit himself

darryl546 Nov 30, 2004 06:44 PM

I was feeding my ball a live mouse, he's never had a problem catching and eating live mice until today, when the mouse ran behind my ball, and he bit himself. it doesn't appear to be bleeding, but there are definitely a few marks.

Is there any precautionary actions I should take to avoid infection/death?

Put some neosporin on it. I wouldn't worry about it as it's happened to many of our snakes
