New to Board with Worry

I love this forum but have trouble with the searches. My worry is that my 8 month old Bearded Dragon may have hurt his left eye. He was out of his cage to get his daily spray. I've taken to setting him on the floor. He went over to his cage which is 6 inches off the floor and appeared to try to jump in it. He hit against the iron feet of the stand. Now he blinks his left eye and seems to draw it in. Some kind of bloody? or reddish film comes over it as draws in. It reminds me of how my leopard frogs swallow their crickets--their eyeballs recess to push the crickets down their throat. Please advise.
