Question about feeding.

SlipKorn Jul 01, 2003 06:26 PM

In was at the pet shop today to get some Reptomin and I saw some freeze dried krill. I was just wondering if anyone ever fed this to a turtle and if turtles will eat it. Thanks.

By the way I have...
Maps
Sliders
Softshells

Krill would have too much salt in it, unless you soaked it to get all the salt out. but Reptomin sticks are fine.

I know that the sticks are fine but I wasn't sure about the krill. Thanks.

Krill technically is not that salty. If you give it as a treat sparingly then it will not harm them. Softshells seem to like it.
