Found this guy crossing the road Sunday. For the full herp trip and details refer to the field notes and observations forum. He was crossing the road in sub 60 weather. I've been told that these can't be sold but residents are allowed to keep one. Is that correct? Florida Box Turtle.

Residents can in fact own 2 box turtles of the species Terrapene Carolina, which includes your Florida Box Turtle.
