Maybe size of enclosure DOES affect growth...

Just moved my 2 and 1/2 year old bci female from her 4x2x2 Neo into her new dig 7'6"x2'x16"H. I noticed she's in shed one full month earlier than normal. Everything else is close to what she's used to temps, ect.(95 on one side, 75-80 on the other,) If anything, she's been fed one meal less due to a feeding adjustment (I used to give her two large rats every other feeding but she started looking pregnant so I backed off to 1 large every two weeks.) She's 6' and 10 lbs and very healthy. Coincidence? What do you think?

Could just be the stress of moving into a new home. Only time will tell.

i don't know if this is true but I hope so. I just moved my bci into a 4'x4'x'5 cages by design from a 16"x36"x18" glass tank. shes 4' and about 2 years old. I'm sure they will enjoy having the extra space regardless.

I just moved a big suri female from a rack into a giant cage, 5ft long 2 ft wide and 3ft tall, oddly enough she spends most of her time up on a perch I built about 30 inches off the ground. Not sure why but it is interesting.

,Iguanas and alligators. I'm not sure when this was confirmed
to be inaccurate or even if it really has been disproved.

When I moved my Guyanan male to a larger enclosure a couple of
years ago he was just a year old and I noticed a similar, very
noticable, immediate growth spurt. He was still pretty small and
I had him in a long 20 gallon, it's not like he was in an undersized tub.
