Room Temp?

mmdogg101 Nov 30, 2004 10:16 PM

I was on dendrobroad and the concensus there seemd to be that darts could be kept at room temp year round. Some people were saying theres get down to low to mid sixties. I am just wondering what others thought about this. Since I have stuggled at times to maintain temps above room temp.

Matt,

Room temperature is a good rule of thumb. We maintain our frog room between 68 - 80. Although the temperature might go outside of this range for short periods of time, I try to limit it.

Heat will kill your frogs quicker than cold, so if you have issues go on the low side.

We have just moved our frog room and added a ton of lights, since doing so, the ambient temperature in the room has climbed.

Hope this helps,

Melis

i live in an in-law of my garage in san francisco and it gets down to high 50s but average low 60s during winter. i've had my trio of auratus for almost 3 years and they're doing fine.
