Here is a better link on how to identify a cinnamon. Sounds like they need to have an all white belly. Maybe it's not so subtle in person but I would bet there are still a lot of them out there unknown.

Since Robin at PE wrote that silly little rant a few years ago, there have been a number of "normals" proven to be anything but normal.
The breeders who chose to think for themselves and not let PE do it for them are reaping the rewards now...producing all kinds of crazy stuff.
Yellow bellies have proven to be het ivory, mojaves (another one that people argued wasn't a morph) have proven to be het for leucistic, fireballs have popped up (assuming they're het leucistic), cinnamons (another that wasn't a "real" morph) have been proven to produce a solid black Ball, certain black backs were proven to be het for red axanthic....the list goes on.
After seeing how silly that article made them look, the only thing baffling me at this point is why they've chosen to leave it on their website.
Bottom line, always think for yourself...especially when it comes to reading that article.

I wouldn't personally know if it is a cinnamon or not, but I would certainly put him/her into a breeding program as soon as possible, that's for sure. He certainly looks different. Almost looks like a cinnamon/mojave cross or something. Certainly worth the effort to try him out in my opinion.
Best of luck, and keep us posted!
Bristen.
Cinnys are supposed to have silver eyes,..arent they ?

It's definitely not a cinnamon pastel. The color and pattern are all wrong.
This picture shows a Cinnamon Pastel that belongs to my good friend and partner, David Thomson.
Having said all that, if that snake looks different to you, it never hurts to breed them and find out if the look is genetic.
