How often should I change the substrate in my enclosure (i'm using aspen) How often should I clean the inside of the tank itself? Does anyone use/recommend Virosan?

You should spot clean your cage whenever it needs to be spot cleaned. If you spot clean well enough when using aspen you probably would be fine to clean the entire cage out a couple times a month at the most! As far as cleaning the tank, just use a small amount of bleach in hot water, it gets the job done! Just make sure the bleach smell is not in the tank when done, which is never a problem unless you use WAY to much bleach.
