need some help with some pics....

dmac77 Dec 01, 2004 12:52 AM

I've got several pics of a new pastel male I recently acquired as well as some pics of two 50% poss. het pied females.... I've been trying to post the things on here, but I keep getting a message that the pics are too large. I tried setting my digi. camera to a lower setting, but the pics then came out all crappy and blocky. Anyone have any tips to remedy this? Is there a program I can get (free or otherwise) that will let me size down my pics for web posting? Thanks a bunch.

Dave.

Put them in paint brush and shrink them..I have had luck with that. Same thig was going on with most my pics including this one..in paint it looked huge and I bet thats cuz the file was..shrink it down to like 37% on both length and width and it did the trick..good luck.

Go to www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

Scroll down the right hand side, then find, download and install ImageResizer .

This is an amazing little tool that allows you to right click over a photo and resize it to one of 3 different pre-set sizes or a custom size.

Super fast, super easy, super effective.

Powertoys exist for all versions of Windows ... just go and find yours.
