Not Eating...

Orocosos Dec 01, 2004 09:42 AM

My RES is refusing to eat. He is still active, but everytime I put a pellet into the tank, he just ignores it. He took a small bite out of one today but that was it. Is this normal and what should I do to get him to eat?

Variety is the spice of life.

Give pellets as the staple 3 times/week otherwise try
some romaine, turnip greens, thinly sliced squash and
zucchini, bananas, etc. Also for protein give soaked
dry cat food (until soft),frozen-thawed shrimp cut very
small.

With this diet my turtles have NEVER missed a meal.
