Has anyone tried packaging paper (brown or white) from stores such as staples for a substrate rather than paper towels?
Any pros or cons?
Thanks.

I think the paper would be thinner and hold even less water than paper towel. It may also be not as easy for the geckos to grip. I'd stick to paper towel if you can.
Does anyone know if they make solid-color paper towel?

yes they make solid white paper towels... but im not sure about other colors... maybe yellow or brown... or black
I've used paper towel rolls like the kind they dispense in public restrooms. Those are actually nicer than regular house paper towels. They look nicer and the leos' claws don't get stuck to them like they sometimes do with regular paper towels.
