Got A FBT Question!!!!!!!!

Davpacker Dec 01, 2004 03:23 PM

I'm getting either a 50-60 gallon tank. I was wondering how many FBT's i can put into it safely.

Well it all depends on your setup. I had a 20 gallon tank with mostly water and a beautiful incline to land holding 5 frogs that lived very happily. A 50 gallon tan is large but i would say go with about 8-10 fbt's first and monitor their activity. Are they crowded? Could you add more ? Is there enough open area for more frogs. Once you determine these questions you should be able to figure how many to have. I tell you ive had alot of frogs but fbt's are great frogs for large tanks with their activity in the water and out.

I usually have some pebbles sloping down to the water. The water in my 20 gallon tank is 4-5 inches high. I just have three in there and they have plenty of room since one of them doesn't like the water to much for some reason.I'll try 8 at first and see if they all like it.

Do you go to petco and if so what kinds of frogs or toads do they have there. I go to a smaller place that doesn't have that many but it's ok it has lots of fishes and reptiles.
