This may sound like a stupid question, but how do you know if they are producing sperm plugs? Thanks in advance for feedback.

Is that the only way? I've never popped a snake before and my male is an albino (550 grams) and i'm afraid I'll hurt him. Also, I heard you could only pop hatchlings.

I'm somewhat of a noob myself,but it wasn't that difficult.The actual amount of pressure required was very minimal.
