I have two of them, and one is very tame...if you open the cage he walks out calmly and walks around on my hand, etc.
The other is skitish and runs away (hasn't bit me yet).
I have not spent time "taming" either one of them, I guess it is just individual differences. I maybe handle the tamer one once a week, the other one almost never. The first one can be calmly picked up, the other, you have to be quick.
They are both calmer than when they were hatchlings...getting used to their surroundings

BTW, I have been away from the forum for awhile, how are the temperament of your albinos/hets compared to your reds?
My blues get more tame every day. They come to the door and wait to be let out. All 3 walk onto my hand, up my arm, around my shoulder, over my head and around and around. They have never whipped or hissed. None of my reds were ever this friendly until they were over a year old. At 3 1/2 months, they are all puppy dog tame.
