To all you breeders out there...

I'm new to Ball Pythons, and I'd like to start a breeding project. I gotta start small though, maybe Albinos. My question is: how hard is it to sell the babies? I've been checking the classifieds every day for the past few weeks, it seems like the same ads over and over. Is it a bad time of year for selling, or is the market just flooded? I don't want to end up with a bunch of babies that I can't find homes for!

I'm thinking of picking up my first BP at the Pomona show on the 11th. I'll be sure to post pics.

This is a very informative Forum, I'm sure I'll be spending a lot of time here.
Thanks in advance!

right now everyone is breeding and not worried about buying...you'll see stuff flyin out the door when hatching starts (summer) and people can afford to buy the stuff they want too....

Holiday season and winter always the slowest part of the year for selling reptiles. You may be able to talk down and set yourself up some excellent "back door" deals with a few pros that are hurting on sales.

This is also nice because it gives us a break from the hustle, stress and worry about catching up with feeding, breeding, and selling (in regards to the hobbiest).

Believe me, if you get in this biz...you may be surprised as to the amount of top-notch animals that don't sell like hotcakes.
