PARADOX BROOKSI?...... WHO HAS UM?.... LETS C SUM PIX!

ZFelicien Dec 02, 2004 10:27 AM

since my friend has a lavender albino Brooksi with one black scale I've been hearing alot about paradox brooks kings, all he talks about is the possibility of producing paradox Brooksi in a few years, so...

WHO HAS THEM?

DO YOU HAVE PIX?

HOW DOES THAT TRAIT WORK?
IS IT BY LUCK OR CHANCE YOU'LL PRODUCE A PARADOX?
IS IT GENETIC?

DOES IT WORK SOLELY ON THE LAVENDER ALBINO TRAIT?

..but that does not mean someone produced one.

But I believe Tim Ricks has some paradox brooksi. Someone had at least one at Daytona last year, and I think it was Tim Ricks. I think it was a large male lavender albino.

You could be right. Maybe Tim Ricks is still browsing this board and can chime in?

I will have to look around but a breeder on kingsnke probreeders i think have made mention of a paradox but ive yet to see a pic

Tim Ricks has a couple of adults I think, and he has a nice 03 lav. brooks that has black specks all over it. They have not been produced consistently as of yet. Professional breeders brooksi come from the same line.

Hey if you know Tim Ricks personally can you ask him to post a PIC of the Paradox Brooksi, I'd love to see the specimen, so I won't have to imagine what it looks like, i'm picturing a lavender albino with random black dots, is it random or is there some symmetry to it all?

Jeff is correct{Thank You Jeff}.I have displayed them at shows, the amount of black in albinos and the amount of EXTREME LAVENDER ORANGE AND GLOSS BLACK in normals is random. If and when they are consistently produced and I learn to use a camera I will be glad to post them.A piebald south florida king is not out of the question either.I thank everyone for their interest,AND I DO HATE COMPUTERS LOL.

piebald................................ ive also heard of an albino brooksi with a normal patch piebald in reverse ?

Brandon Osborne Dec 03, 2004 03:06 PM

That would be a paradox. A piebald would have patches missing all pigment.....like a piebald ball python. In the piebald mutation, the color is always white on a normal color. I'd love to see one myself.
