I have notice a couple of place with poss het albinos selling them a poss hets with the marker trait for albino, and a couple of people have said the poss hets that are really hets are more speckled then none hets. has anybody found this to be true? I know that poss het for piebald balls sometimes show white belly with black stripes. just woundering what everybody thought on the subject or if anybody had found this to be true?

From what Jeff R tells me, he claims the marker is something on the head area of the snake.

He also tells me its something that you notice more right a birth, and is easiest to tell "het" from "non het" when the whole litters together.

From what hes telling me, it seems you need to do this with the whole group of babies, as once seperated the difference would be hard to tell.

Example I had some poss dh sunglow males from Stone, and I asked Jeff if at Tinley he would tell me the "het" from the "not het". He said he could try, but he claims the hypo gene makes the marker harder to see, and without the whole group its not as effective.

So for what its worth, thats the info I know on it.
