at about 2' and aproaching 350 grams they change every day. I have never had Blues before. These are the friendliest and calmest Tegus I have ever had. I am so hooked on Blues!

Beautiful tegs!! Is it a 1.1 pair?! I've been looking at blues but still not sure. I love monitors so much but tegus have a personality all their own. Decisions, decisions!
the male is albino and the 2 girls are het.
After several bad experiences with monitors and being bitten, my wife said no way to them. They are very smart and very strong willed. With some of them reaching well over 4 foot, I looked for an alternative. I wanted something handleable. Someone turned me on to Red Tegus and I became very intrigued. They get big but not to big; they are friendly and easily tameable. I know a few people with blues, and they are all sweethearts so I decided to expand in that direction. I also have Rhino Igs. There is no comparison. While I have a couple of Rhinos that will tolerate people and one that even comes when called and enjoys being rubbed for short periods, Tegus are my favorite large bodied lizard.

Your guys looks great.
Yes blues are very cool...their small size also make it easy. I feed my hybrids just like blues for my convenience (only mice, I don't bother with fruits or insects anymore)
Since you raised both reds and blues, do you notice any behavioral differences?

Those sure are some purty tegs my friend. Fun to watch them grow. If you stare at them long enough you can almost watch them grow
I took a photo of my blue about once a month for his first year and the growth is pretty amazing. Seemed like every time I got him out of his enclosure he was noteably bigger. Must have something to do with their godzilla-like appetite? Best of luck with those beauties, can't wait to see them as adults!

That's cool that you actually got pics in sequence like that. Every time I try to do that with any animal, I get side tracked and I never complete the set. Do you have those pics posted anywhere? if not post 'em here. I would really like to see the time progression.

That is definately a cool set of pics. He is a handsome devil. If you ever do another set like this showing growth, puting something in for a size refference would be great too.
