Mali Uro breeding

pacmanfreak Dec 02, 2004 05:16 PM

I have some mail uros, and i am interested in breeding them. I have been looking up breeding and descovered that you are not to feed them for like a month! is this true? couldn't this kill a animal if it is the first time its been burmated? Other then that if any one can give me some help tips or info it would be nice, or if any onw knows any good uro webs sites.

Thanks for the help

Brumation isn't always necessary to encourage breeding. It can be kind of risky to the health of the reptile.I believe that if Uros are raised in a colony type setup that they will breed readily without brumation.I'm hoping I'm right because I'm putting it to the test this season.Last year I brumated them and still had a hard time getting them to breed. This time I'm going to forgo the brumation.
