Than I'd be interested as well in the answer....

"What is the average number of years a Ball Python can Breed?"

My oldest girl is only 4 so I'd love some feedback as far as the oldest females that anyone has that are still laying eggs and males that are producing viable offspring.... Just how many years can expect out of my new pastels and albino's???

Thanks all from me and draco....

I doubt anyone knows for sure yet. Very few ball pythons have been in captivity anywhere near as long as the record longevity in the upper 40's much less have many been bred anywhere near that long. The vast majority of ball pythons in captivity are 10 years old or less. There might be a few examples of 30 year olds breeding but it's hard to say yet if the average is 20 or 50 years for the breeding life, maybe we'll know in another 50 years.

If you do a search or the archives or google you might be surprised to learn that even very old ones breed.
