It would probably be best to buy one. WC ones are often very jumpy and have lots of internal parasites. Besides, these days you can even get albino bullfrogs for around 40 or 50 bucks. You will need a VERY large tak (we are talking upward of 100 gallons possibly) and be prepared to shell out big bucks on food haha. Andy

wow that was fast. i have read you can feed them mice. is that dead and/or alive? and is it like 100 (roughly) per frog or how does that work? do they do well in groups. (my idea of a bullfrog group is 2, i dont think they make tanks big enough for 3 lol)

They are cannibalistic. Mice are bad for them. Best food is invertebrates, mostly crickets/hissing cockroaches along with the normal for amphibians. Fish are an ok treat for every once in a while. Andy

actually ive been feeding my wild caught bullfrog mice for at least 2 years and I've had him for over 4 years.frogs in the wild will eat anything that comes near it including rodents (including bats) birds and other frogs. as long as you feed them I diverse diet AND DONT OVER FEED (frogs will eat till they burst...literally). also keep your hands out of biting distance fingers and food are often mistaken and it may not hurt... but being 3 nuckles deep in a frog mouth isn't fun

I doubt it will live to its potential if you keep feeding mice. But hey, if you don't want to listen to the research (read most papers by RD Bartlett), then be my guest. Andy

Yeah they make a zoo enclosure for 3. lol If you tried a mouse make sure it is at least knocked out, you could feed a dead one to it, but either way you would need tongs to make the mouse "move" for the frog. You could probobly build your own custum enclosure for 3 of them though, but I wouldn't suggest anything less than 3 cubic feet per frog.

I have some C.B. bullfrog tads right now. They are very tiny. I could GIVE you some if you want them when they are adult tads. All you would have to do is pay shipping.
