what is it

is this simply an extremely red phase of B. irregularis or is it another species? Any help in its identification would be appreciated. Thanks, Don

B. irregularis is extremely variable in colour and pattern. We have had solid red ones like that from Indonesian islands.

thanks brian, that is what I thought but had never seen one that red. it is from indo. i am the guy who wrote you about the sea kraits (we do shows on reptiles for korean tv). Just got back from Kalimantan and komodo island. Planning on doing something around irian jaya next. if you ever want to do a joint show let me know. we can travel anywhere and would love to introduce you to the korean reptile "mania".

Hey Mate! Did you see the Oxy thread (with pics) in Rearfang on Kingsnake? Odd condition there. I know the guy FRAN who posted and his died of fatty tumors. What's your take?

Am about to FINALLY get a pair of Psuedodaspes cana (S.African). MA has taken to attempting Diamond python breeding as well as D'Alberts.
