i was reading this on Trempers site

"* Blue Albinos........Update 11/15/04 - due to an incubator accident I lost my male hets and now have to start all over making new male hets and then breeding them back to the mutation female. So my friends, this nice project is set back, but not dead. If I can duplicate this mutation in a single offspring then the light blue albinos with red eyes will happen. A number of you have seen my blue mutation female tangerine albino and know the potential at hand. But at this point, we're looking at 2006 or 2007 on these. Don't be too disappointed, I promise some equally impressive new mutations for 2005!"

does anybody know where i can see a picture of this blue mutation female he talks about? i saw no pictures of it on his site at all.

I don't beleive it. Plain and simple. My guess is that he has a really nice lavender that looks like a lighter blue.

But is her seriously claiming another new gene?

I'll beleive it when I see and when the genetics prove out.

Did I call it or what???? I knew it all along..... You can look on the other pages on the other thread titled BLUE ALBINOS and see that I was the one who called it....

Or are they different?

yes chinese leos are blue, aren't they mean? they don't do well in captivity right? I'm looking at a picture of one right now, looks m-e-a-n.

But they live alot differently than normal leo's. They need humid cages, with jungle-like enclosures.

I told the good people on this forum that there was not going to be any blue albinos about a month and a half, two months ago.... I am willing to bet it will never happen..... You are not going to see any pics of one because they do not exist.....

yeah I didn't think it was possible there is no color blue in any leopard I have ever seen and it would of had to appear some where in some for as fo all the other morph they make sence but blue what is the pigment where would it be coming from. What would have to be missing for it to show through??? I know I am sure that people will post that there is blue on some blizzars or even on some patternless but that is only the color of the eyes showing through the thin skin on the top of there heads.Well anyway it would be interesting to see. So now we wait hop someone can make a beliver out of me. Until then I will be waiting for the Black leos at least that morph makes sence.
