i noticed the scutes of my small res are of a different pattern than those of my large res...any idea what may cause this or if it is bad?

you often see that when the eggs are incubated at a high temp, nothing serious.

I've seen this many times before. It is nothing to be concerned about. They are born this way.

You can format your posts and signature using BBCode. Here are some common examples:
