I've had my uro for a little over a month. About 3 days ago, noticed it's acting like it's lost it's balance? What could be causing this? Please email me if you have any ideas mjtmhelm@yahoo.com

Does it walk funny like its drunk?I would take it to the vet to be on the safe side since it's a juvenile!
In my hand, it does what I call the "death roll", just flips over and over for a 10 seconds or so. Doesn't walk like it's drunk, more in circles for about 10 - 15 seconds again. Over the weekend, I set it in a tank outside for some direct sunlight - could this kind of behavior be because it's not hot enough in his cage? He had more energy while basking outside and seems to be coming out of it a bit. He holds his neck
sideways too, not as bad. Anyone in the Winter Haven, Florida area that can recommend a better vet?

i think that address will work. it is a list of herp vets.
when he walks around in circles, does he drag his butt like he is marking his territory? just a thought. i know in humans and some animals, a drunk walk could be a sign of an ear ache, but i am not sure if lizards get them. i hope your lizard is ok but a trip to the vet is never a bad thing. keep us posted

I think Yugi is doing better. Still off, but, he still eats well and poops/pees well too. He just acts like he's lost his equilibrium a little. I'll have to get a picture on the site to see if anyone can determine his age, and even if he's a "HE". I think it may be female...but, can't tell my son that, Yugi is a "He" to him! Thanks for the vet list, and I'll be taking him this week.
