I was wondering if snakes are Illegal in Chi town because it seems like no one here sells them. Can some one recommend me a store or update me on a Expo.

There are tons of snake breeders in Chicago. There are some fine reptile shops as well in the Chicagoland area. Chicago Reptile House in Orland, Glen Ellyn Pet Center in Glen Ellyn, Animal Island in Blue Island are a couple of good-decent shops.
You have the Chicago Herpetological Society meetings to get networking details on local breeders. You also have ReptileFest in April at UIC and Reptile Rampage in March in Lake Forest.
Hmmm, Tinley Park-NARBC in October....You might need therapy after attending this event if you are a true herpaholic!

There are quite a few. Some of the best jungles are here in Chicago, as well as some very very nice chondros. Lots of other stuff too.
