i was having trouble feeding my bp, so i took him out and placed him in a seperate box over night and it worked !!!

but prior to this, he used to go out eveynight , play around all night, climb the tree ... now ever since the feeding night he's been afraid of me. i come in the room, see him up on the tree resting, 10 minutes later, he's back in his hide !!! he's never out anymore, unless i'm not in the room !!!

isn't that weird ?

That sounds pretty normal. Snakes will general have a period of less activity after a meal. Give him/her a few days to digest the meal and I'm sure he'll be back out looking for more. Good luck, Scott.
