Anyone keep taipans? more....

I have been out of the really fun, fast venomous for a few years.
However, I aquired a pair of Papuan Taipans again 8 or 9 months ago. In the past I worked with both the Papuan and the Eastern Taipan. The serum seems more expensive now than it did a decade ago. I don't see a lot of Taipan keepers anymore, are they just turned off by the cost of the serum? Or the reputation? Or do they just tend to keep more quiet?
Just curious.
