Thanx Robert. I hope to get at least one like him next year, but at this point would be happy with anything :P

Gorgeous snake! I'm just curious why do you only use the bedabeast in the hide box and not as the substrate in the entire cage? I use bedabeast as a substrate for all my snakes (and my skinks) except my sand boas and was wondering how it would work with them.

I just like the aspen better as a substrate. I choose to use the bed-a-beast in their hides because when they are getting ready to shed I can easily mist it and they shed perfect every time. I am sure it could work for a substrate in the whole cage. It does get a bit dusty when it is totally dry though, and with KSBs I do not think you want it always moist/high humidity... although they are burrowing snakes in the wild so the humidity would be higher underground than above... so.. uh yeah. I don't know....
