FOLLOW UP TO "LUCY THE LEUCISTIC"

After further investigation on both parties it has been decided that it at an honest misunderstanding. I feel like I'm being overly compensated for my trouble, more than I ever expected. Although I am not positive on the exact morph, I believe it to be at least 66% leucistic. It is a very pretty, healthy, hardy, dragon. In a size comparison the male I sent was the only one close to the size of "Lucy" and he is getting sent back the begining of next week. Also, I am getting 2nd pick of the best male red in the countryxa really nice female. This situation turned out to be very positive. It just shows how easy it is to fix issues and alway put customer service first.

Glad everything is working out for you. If your getting one of their wonderful Scar babies I'm sure it'll be a beauty!! I have one of them myself and she is a great dragon.

Oh crud..... The breeder you were talking abnout is the guys that bought out Chris Allen? I thought it was a different breeder that has a similar name..... MY BAD>>>>> I HAVE NEVER CONTACTED THIS BREEDER..... I can't believe they would do some of the shady things they have been accused of here either.... Just goes to show you you really can't trust ANYONE..... Sometimes a good name and excellant referances can be a vehicle to do dirty.......... Sad but true......

If all "Shady" people corrected their mistakes like what is happening here this business would be a much better place. Seems to me this breeder is correcting a mistake, and making the customer in the end happy. Is this really the actions of a shady person?

Sooo.... you're saying that sending someone a hypo/snow dragon and calling it a leucistic is what a standup guy such as yourself would do? Right is right no matter which way you look ast it Matt. I'm glad that he is at least trying to rectify the situation (it is more than i recieved from my less than acceptable experience)with Jeff but you can't tell me that what I mentioned in my previous post isn't true to some extent.....

I of course expect you to defend your buddies actions (even though what I said wasn't directed at him personally but as a warning to all buyers no matter who they are buying from) I do however have a hard time understanding why you would defend what he did even if he is trying to make it right..... Bottom line is that Jeff was sold a leucistic dragon and it was a hypo/snow............ No matter who you are or who your buddies are that is definately "shady

I'm not sticking up for anyone or do I have to stick up for buddies. What the poster said was it was an honest misunderstanding, and in the end he was overly compensated, and happy with the customer service, and the way the problem was resolved. A shady person or dishonest would say tough thats what I bought it as and thats what it was sold as and wipe his hands clean of the matter. Happens way to often as you know. If I myself made a mistake I would hope in the end it would end like this with the customer happy, and posting on a forum that he was happy with my customer service, and satisfied in the way I handled the problem at hand.

And like I said in my previous post that comment was not directed at him alone nor was it a personal attack on his character merely a warning that is more than justified in todays world......... You di notice i said he was accused - not guilty - of the more than one accusation that was thrown at him.

As one person can slam you, and no one see's the hundreds that are more than satisfied with how yu conduct your business. We have nothing to prove to anyone. We admit when we make a mistake, and we do our best to correct them. We never claim to be perfect or the " best, most knowelegeable breeder out there" We give more for charities, and children than most people sell!

We do our best to make every transaction a stress free one with as little anxiety as possible. Yet it doesn't always work, therefore the best we can do is correct the situation. We never ask our customers to post positive comments, as our intentions and integrity stand for themselves. I Challenge anyone to find a situation where we intentionally did a diservice. If you send me an E-mail, I will send you comments from people all over on not only the quality of the dragons, yet the quality of how we run our business, and our integrity.

We feel no obligation to be defensive, therefore this will be the first and last note you see from us on any forum. Let the frivoulous people that look to tear down, rather than build waste their time judging what they know not.

I guess I have a way of saying something in a situation that can come out completely wrong. I bought a dragon from a guy and when I got it not only was it not even the dragon i had rteceived a picture of but it was also sickly. At the end of it I was made to look like the bad guy and someone who must not know anything and in fact someone even said that they new the guy and he would never do something like that.. He has over 60 positive feedbacks on reptibid and from what I understand many satisfied customers. He however knows what he did to me and then turned it on me to make me look like the person in the wrong and has still offered no compensation whatsoever and even posted several lies about conversations we had over the phone. That is my reasoning for what I said in the post. i don't know you and may never do buisness with you and was not my intent to slam you at all... I can only say that some people misuse a good reputation to take advantage of people they may think they can get away with doing it too and people should know that.
I'm glad that you and Jeff worked things out.... I suppose that I am a little bitter about the whole experience I had with the guy I am speaking of and those feelings surfaced at the wrong time....

I think you handled the situation admirably. Lucy is a beautiful dragon and you are working with you client to correct the problem to both parties' satisfaction.

By the way, I went to your website and you have some really beautiful breeders.

ASIDE: Be careful if you serach for Sunshine Dragons. Make sure the description says "bearded dragons". There is some bizarro website with cartoon dragons (like magic dragons) that I think tried to give me a virus.
