48" uvb bulbs.......best price?.......where to look?

Altimaes300 Dec 04, 2004 02:42 PM

I need 4, 48" uvb bulbs. What is a good reputable place on the net to obtain these bulbs at an inexpensive prices? I'd like a good brand name, but anything that effectively gets the job done is what I'm all about. (I need them soon my beardie collection is about to double!)

I usually buy from bigappleherp.com, their prices are good, they usually have a sale on UVB bulbs. I have never had a customer service problem either.

Says penetrates upto 12 in so is this bulb ok if it is only like 3 inches away? Or would it be to strong. I'm moving over to a longer bulb and mounting it onto the inside part of the cage where the beardie can't get to it and its hiden in the cage and not laying on top of if.
