Transitions? Live to F/T.... Is there any set process.

I have a pair of hypo hondurans that are very picky when it comes to what they eat. They'll eat f/t after they come out of a shed but they won't take f/t at all other than that. so on a regular basis i have to give them either a live or pre-killed mouse. is there any way i can switch them to f/t? i dont really mind them eating live it's just that it's would save me money if i can get them to take f/t. ANY HELP?

you might scale down the mouse size a couple notches and leave thawed fuzzy/lg pinks overnight in the hide. But don't expect success immediately. I do a lot of "live action simulation" for my snakes until they discover the thawed pinks and learn to feed on scent alone, this may work if the snakes aren't too flighty and if you skip feeding for a couple weeks, they're often receptive to picking up that soggy thawed fuzzy.
Scenting may work if you don't mind keeping a live mouse around for a while.
Keep at it, they come around eventually. Jeff

One thing that worked for me was to take a hair dryer and blow dry/warm the f/t then immediatley feed.
