First of all: Be glad your folks let you have 2 snakes....We see lots of posts trying to figure out how to convince them to let a kid have ONE.
Now: WHY won't they let you get a third? I am a parent, and if you look at the WHY you will usually be able to figure out if and under what circumstances there is room for debate.
Could you ask for another snake as a Xmas gift?
Why should YOU be "desperate" over getting a third snake? How long do you plan to keep these animals, and how big are they right now? Will you be able to house them when they reach adulthood? Maybe your parents are looking at the long-term, big picture and you are just looking at what you want RIGHT NOW. Think about it. Duffy
just be thankful you can have the two you already have. you could always just get the new one and say that you other ones had a baby....depending on how snake knowledgable your parents are. i have 2 corns, 2 hognoses, and a boa. dad could really give a rip. im also 25 though.

It can be a hard thing to do.
The first thing you need to do is tell them everything you know about corn snakes and how to care for them.
Let them see that you know what you are doing.
Show them quality pictures of blizzard corns. Give them an idea of the beauty of the snake.
Make a list of everything needed to accomodate another corn snake and how YOU will be willing and able to pay for whatever is needed.
Sit down and explain everything to them and ask them to PLEASE explain why they don't won't you to get another snake.
Once you find out their exact reasons against another snake you should be able to form educated responses to alleviate their concerns.
Do not try to force the idea.
Be as level headed as possible.
The angrier everyone gets the lower the chance of agreement.
good luck
