You could use Care Fresh Bedding. It is around the same price and comes in both grey and white colors. The white is especially pretty if you have darker snakes like Mexican Blacks, etc. There is very little to no dust in Care Fresh and a small bag goes a long way (super expandable). It is also excellent at neutralizing odor.
I also have just started trying a bedding called Hemp bedding. And no it will not get your snakes high! lol. It looks just like Aspen and there are no oils or dust that can harm your snake.
Hope this helps!

I first began using screened river sand about 2 years ago. Costs about $4.5 per large sack. Much more cost-effective than Care-Fresh, my prior favorite.
Don't care for newspapers. Not only tacky and non-natural, they smell! Snakes have an even more keen sense of smell than we do, the smell of that ink gets old, fast.
A few weeks ago, from an Internet ad, I got sacks full of free Masons sand following a home remodeling project.
Both my Mexican Black and Cal King love the sand!. No newspaper smell, easy to spot clean, they can dig. It's also most like their natural terrain.
