Nice snake! I almost wet my panties when I read that YOU were going to breed her. I am usually better off when I read the whole caption. I needed a laugh though. By the way, I saw the cartoon on the other forum and should have replied immediately...because that forum is sometimes so fast and it disappeared from page 1 before I went back. It was cool!

It is really amazing how large these snakes look when in a close up picture, then to see it on your hand...it's so tiny! Not much bigger than a baby corn snake. Do they really take 2-3 years to reach full adult size? Or is that just the ideal breeding age for females?
The photo of her in my hand was taken last January...the other photos were taken a couple of days ago...
Females will can breed at 3lbs which, on a my feeding schedule takes 2-2.5 years. 4lbs or more is a safer bet and yes 3 years is ideal if her body weight is what it should be. I think males can breed at 18months.
