I need help with a very annoying problem. Most of the time when I look at a message and hit the back button, instead of going back to the spot I was at, it goes back to the top of the forum and I have to scroll back down and try to find where I was. It is much harder to find the place I was at with the new forum,, the text just seems to blend together sooooooo,
If anyone knows what to change, either in my browser settings or the tools and toys settings,,,,, which ever would stop it from doing that ,, I would be in sooo much debt to you.
Please help me with this.

I'm running Windows ME with IE ? I don't know which version.

Im not sure what the problem is, but it has to be something with your browser cause when I hit the back button I got right back to where I was. I use xp though, sorry couldnt help more.

dunno what it is but it does it to me too, never did with the old one

I'm sure there is a simple fix,,, I just don't know what it would be.

Im not sure how much help i will be, but hey, you all wont kill me for trying!

One thing you can do is setup your preferences so the next thread shows. Loading of messages is reasonably fast for me on 56k modem, and you can scroll thru the topics fairly quickly. You can also set the prefs for expanded view - yes. That will show all replies in that message. Probably the nicest thing with this forum at least for me, is the fact that no matter where you are in a thread, you can go anywhere in that thread. A whole lot less backing out. Make sure you have it set to subthread and show all replies. That will make it look more like the old forums.

Lastly you just say you are hitting back. Are you hitting the link to go back to the beardie board or just the back button? Hitting the link to go back will set me up to the top of the list while hitting back button will set me where i left off. Occasionally I will hit a glitch and it puts me up top, but not often.
